🎁 Keep key flows distraction-free
Repeating the same URL Rule on 37 Experiences is tedious. And forgetting it once breaks a critical user flow. Global URL Exclusions solve this. Set account-level Rules that block all Experiences from specific pages—think checkout flows, critical onboarding steps, or any page where a well-timed tour becomes a very poorly timed interruption.
Exclusion Rules apply automatically to every Experience, current and future. Set once, maintain control as your team scales.
🔐 Exclusion Rules are available on the Growth and Enterprise plans and will soon be available to all users.
Tips for using URL Exclusion Rules
Think flows, not just pages. The best candidates for exclusion aren't always single URLs, they can be sequences. Checkout, password reset, billing, error states, are good starting points.
Pair with Rate Limits for full control. Exclusion Rules handle the "never here" cases. Rate Limits handle the "not too often" ones. Used together, they give you complete control over when and where Experiences appear.
Audit before you add. Before creating Rules, check where your active Experiences are currently showing. Make sure you don't exclude any essential self-serve guidance or gated features that might require opt-in via an Experience.
